ABOUT THE COMPANY DPF CLEANING GROUP LV

• DPF Cleaning Group is a company founded on January 9, 2020, which offers innovative and efficient cleaning of DPF filters (or particulate filters) and catalysts of all types and sizes.

• The legal name of our company is SIA RERBaltic.

Although our company has been officially registered very recently, we have quite an extensive experience and knowledge of clogged particulate filters obtained at workplaces.

• Company manager, Raitis Mežaraups:

“My previous workplace was related to logging, and the company I worked for had forestry machines, harvesters and forwarders, as well as log haulers. There I have learned about such thing as a DPF, because on one fine day one of our machines just stopped. When the diagnostics were performed, it was concluded that the DPF was clogged, and in conversation with the dealer, I realized that even they did not know how to clean this filter properly, gently and effectively. And so, I came up with an idea to establish a company that cleans DPF’s.”

• The advantages of DPF Cleaning Group are that we have one of the most modern and efficient cleaning machines available in the world at the moment. The back pressure measurement is used to diagnose how clogged the filter is, and after the cleaning it is diagnosed again to make sure that the filter is completely clean.

“On Saturday there was a situation, a company that is a forestry and construction machinery dealer called and asked, if we can clean the filter that is installed in the housing and they said: “we have opened the housing, but we cannot get the filter out.”

I said: “There’s nothing to open or remove, just dismount it from the machine and bring it straight to us.”

Respectively, the filter housing was damaged by trying to get the filter out of the housing and then welding the housing shut. When cleaning the particulate filter with our cleaning machine, welding cracks were found, because water came out during the rinsing. When asked why they tried to get the filters out of the housing, the service manager honestly answered – we were told to do so. It was recommended by the filter cleaners they had worked with before.

What I wanted to say by that? We have a machine, where there is no need for intervention, no need to remove the filter to be able to clean it. Simply dismount the particulate filter (DPF) with the entire housing, bring it to us and we will clean it gently with our cleaning machine without damaging the housing.”

• DPF Cleaning Group is located in Ulbroka, at Acones street 16. If it is not convenient for you to bring the filter to us, by prior arrangement, we can use a courier service to pick up the filter at your car service centre, wash it and return it.
• Cleaning the particulate filter will not take much time. For cars, the particulate filter can be cleaned within an hour. For buses, trucks and tractor machinery, the cleaning will take 2-3 hours – depending on the size of the filter and the degree of clogging.
• Our prices are very friendly and welcoming, and much lower than the prices for the replacement of particulate filter with a new one. The price of filter cleaning for cars is 120 EUR, for trucks, buses and tractors from 360 EUR, depending on the size. VAT is already included in the price.
